Everything works perfectly until today, it stucks in the loading screen with "lenovo EMC2" showing, hard drive's LED light was on, and that's it.

I tried to restart it without any hard drive, and a 15 seconds holding to the "reset" button, it doesn't work. What went wrong???

I received T470 laptop on 10-jan-2018 & started using it normally since wednesday 17-jan. The OS is win10. Below are the observation w.r.t the Battery which looks pretty horrible for a new laptop. Battery is 24+24W 3 cell.

Charging cycle takes 4~6h

On charge the , i can work for no more than 2h 20m max. I use outlook, notepad++ jabber & chrome with max 4 open tabs.

Another colleague of mine received the very same model on same day. His observation is charging 10~100% in 1h max & hold time of 6~8h. 

I am confused why the difference in my laptop that too barely a week old.

Please advise.

Actions performed:

Battery Gauge reset via Lenovo Vantage (18-jan 20:55h to 19-Jan 10:13h).

The volume of audio in my headphones is very low, even when it is set to maximum on the audio controls, in the app I am using (tried Spotify and YouTube videos) and on maximum when you open the volume mixer.  It is almost like there is a goveor on the sound, because (i) I do not have this issue when I use the headphones with other devices, and (ii) the green audio bar in the volume mixer will only go up to about 60% of the maximum volume even though it is set to 100%.  Frustrating.  

I used lenovo k8 Note & Airtel (India).

My mobile data always connect.

But my phone not used any inteet when automatically 4g to 2g signal connect. Then needed change network types 4g to 3g or 3g to 4g.

Test :- 1. Safe mode.

2. Factory reset.

3. Network reset.

4. Change SIM slot.

5. Change mobile network (Airtel, Vodafone, Idea)

How to fix it.

Hi ... my yoga 460 run windows 10 and after a blue screen error (21ca) the system not start up and stuck at check for automatic repair and after a while it tells me windows automatic repair can't find the solution and left me some choices like recovery media ( which i don't make one) also windows resotre point is not working (resotre point made by an critical update from microsoft)  .... how to fix this issue ... and make my machine like the day i bought it ... my guess is i should reintall windows 10 from a bootalbe USB disk ... but how to activate windows 10 at this point

I have ThinkPad E550 (model 20DF004KRT) without keyboard backlight.

I have installed new keyboard with backlight (model in attached picture).

But it does not tuing on: Fn+Space acts like just Space (both in Windows and in BIOS).

Maybe someone knows the solution?

Lenovo K8 Plus music key is not working at all.

In System UI Tuner (activated this in Settings) also, options like long press music key to perform a task like flash light, music play/pause etc. are not working.

The music key is just not working!

1 Gallery app,

2 Compass app,

3 Call blocker app,

4 User profile changing(especially vibrate or silent mode) option in quick setting on status bar,

5 battery percentage indication in status bar near battery icon,

6 Camera app is difficult to operate, make it simple like as it is in k3 note and add face beauty option in selfie mode,

7 power saver mode as it is in k3 note where only call and sms function works.

in k8 note in next updates. Please.

Otherwise k8 phones are good.

Hi, I have a problem with the Lenovo Nerve Center, I had to restore my PC due to the clear blue screen due to a game. It is a desktop Lenovo Ideacentre Y720. What is that Audio Enhancer has disappeared from the Nerve Center after I had to restore my PC. The version I have on Nerve Cener is 1.70.0426. Audio Enhancer was at the Nerve Center when I bought the PC. I have re-read it twice but it did not help

I already leaed, that Lenovo thinks Windows 10 is not suitable for the T420s as it's not selectable as used operating system, as well as that the T420s is seen as out of service prior to the usual 5 years after end of sales as per the matrix of Spectre and Meltdown support fixes as the T420s is not mentioned there, although in official sales until March 2013.

So, at what exact date it went out of support and why isn't it possible to find any information?

I'm using Thinkpads since 18 years now but this really annoys me as the laptop is still performing well and not being able to secure it against this threat doesn't make me feel comfortable...

Hi, all. I have a problem thunderbolt is not charge notebook, but usb ports and displayport working.

1. I connect the Laptop with the Thunderbolt connector on the backside of the Dock (beside the HDMI/DP connectors) and on the frontside, not working.

2. I updated all drivers.

3. I go into the BIOS and "disable the battery for technical service".

But if I use an AC power adapter, it charges.

Does anyone have a solution?
